Am i being a *****? I need someones perspective?

me and my boyfriend moved to his dads house 6 months ago, in the city while we save for our own place, most of his family live around here too. The thing is and i know it might sound silly, a week after we moved here his gran who he hardly sees asked us for our hoover. I didnt want his to give it to her but he did it anyway. His dad doesnt have one, and since its a big old house with hard wood floors and we have 2 cats and a dog it needs hoovered everyday, now it can take me over an hour and a half to sweep the whole house. Which is **** especially as he hardly helps and hel only help if i ask him too, iv asked him to get it back for 5 months as it was 'supposed' to be a loan which it clearly is not, its hard to get the house clean with out it, a broom is not ideal! He doesnt care how much it bothers me and he keeps saying wel buy a new one but i dont see why we should fork out money when his gran just called up and asked for ours! He was supposed to go get it today but apparently its too much hle to get on a bus that takes an hour.... Its really stressing me out, he has not even seen his gran since we moved, all i want is the hoover he gave away to make my life a little easier, also when i sweep i sneeze constantly which is not fun, am i being a *****? I know this is rediculously long and i sound like a whiney cow, but its excuse after excuse why he cant get it :(, please dont be mean, also his dad dusnt help out cuz he never stays here
