I puchased an existing business but do not have the seller's EIN. Turbotax is asking me for it but it is not listed on any of my paperwork from the sale (we had an escrow company handle the sale for us). Do I really need this? And since I have no idea how to contact them any longer (the LLC dissolved and the owners moved) how can I find it if I need it? Thank you.
