Is Morris Park, Bronx a dangerous area?

The Morris Park area of the Bronx is predominantly Italian residents. The streets are tree lined and kept very neat. Every October they have a Columbus Day Parade and there are quite a few nice cafes on Morris Park Avenue. The area is covered by the 49th Police Precinct, which is only a few blocks away.
