My friends don't like my boyfriend?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about a year and we really love each other. The problem is, I only told my two best friends about it. We don't want anyone else to know. My best friends think that my boyfriend is really mean and think he's a little weird because he doesn't talk to girls so much. I think he's the sweetest boy I've ever met, and my best friends keep on telling me " Why do you like him, he's so weird", and it really hurts my feelings, because I really like him. They also think that just because I talk to him during recess every day, that I pay more attention to him than to them. But, I have a different relationship with them than I have with him him. I don't know what to do! What should I tell my best friends. I don't want to lose my relationship with them or my boyfriend!
