What the? Were the KCAs always so lame?

I was watching this last night and the rerun this morning and something I didn't notice, the broadcasted show skipped over ALOT like after commercials they had Fred tell you who won in the categorys I wanted to see? WTF? And they also skipped over Miranda Cosgrove's preformance that they promised during the countdown, they came back to her finishing up? Has Nickelodean always done this?
