In your opinion, is my art worth anything?

You certainly do have a talent for drawing intricate lines and I think you might be fascinated and really good at a new art form that is cropping up all over. This can be a very sophisticated form of creative "doodling" that incorporates many different intricately drawn patterns. The result is unique to each person. There is a website you can check out www.zentangle.com. You can sign up for their newsletter for free and search their archives for all the different Zentangle patterns and check out their gallery. Some people are using this art form to cover walls, floors, tables, chairs etc. in addition to paper with beautiful images. Can you sell your work? I think you could, especially if you add variety to your work. Price your work by size and time and in the beginning be modest. For example, if it takes you 3 hours to do a 4 x5 inch piece and the price for your time is $5.00 per hour and the material you use costs 3.00 you would price it at $18.00. The more time it takes and the larger the piece, the higher the price. You might also consider using Micron Pigma Pens with permanent, acid free and archival black ink, especially size .005 which is very tiny. Go here to find them www.sakuraofamerica.com. I paint in oils and sculpt but my first love is drawing. I enjoy doing Zentangles because I can do them anywhere and just about any time and all I need is a Micron Pen and a drawing pad. You can look at some of mine at www.picturetrail.com/Gramarye. Just click on the album Zentangles. Keep up the good work!
