Is this a good idea for a novel series?

Zachary Manares, Jasmine Flynn, and Duncan Varella are taken to an underground hideout by their history teacher Alaric Lederman. Alaric tells them that he is their protector. Alaric tells them that the reason that their is an underground hideout is that there is a big threat currently being reawakened and that it is sending a group of monsters into the world to kill them. To protect them, an underground hideout was made. Zach is revealed to be a son of Ares, Jasmine is a daughter of Aphrodite, and Duncan is a son of Hermes. Each Olympian has only one child. They are all very powerful demigods. Zach, Jasmine, and Duncan later go on a quest to save Aphrodite from The Cyclops Polyphemus and the Giant Athos. When they return Aphrodite to Olympus, Aphrodite reveals that the big threat that's being reawakened is her father Ur. Later in the series, they decide to find the minor children of the minor gods. Kevin Grey is introduced as the son of Zeus and the final novel is going to be a reenactment of the Giant-Olympian war. This is planned to be the third novel.
