Post-Islamic Faiths: Do they "invalidate" Muslim belief?

Not unless their prophet said it did. That's why Islam says its the "last religion" because Muhammad said it was. Just like Mormonism, which pretty much did the same thing. Its a good trick, declaring that your "new" religion is the last incarnation of the "old" ones.
