What piano should i get??

If your budget is under $500, get an electric piano. The sound won't be as rich and the touch and weight of the keys cannot match a real piano. If you can afford a more expensive piano, then buy an upright. It is much better than an electric, because it has all 3 pedals, weighted keys, and of course the sound of keys being played. If your wanting to spend around $10,000 and more, then definitely buy a grand piano. But, make sure you want to study piano for many years, and it will last the longest. With upright and grand pianos, you have to maintain it by getting it professionally tuned every 6-8 months, which costs around $50. If your just beginning pianist, you may want an electric piano so if you ever quit you do not lose a lot of money for a large instrument.
