Fill the tank about 3 inches deep and wet it enough so that its almost mud but not quite. And I just dump like 3 gles of water in the tank like every 3 days to keep it wet since frogs absorb their water through their skin. And I keep a 50 watt night bulb on one side of the 10 gallon tank 24/7. You can even Plant certain house plants in with him to give the tank a real look. Feed em a rat once a week and they r happy.

Do you jump off the board and right when you start going into the air, you snap down your toe thats on the tail to get you and the board airborne? Or do you kind of just slam the tail while lifting your front foot, and jump as soon as your back foot and the tail hit the ground? Why do some christians and atheists constantly challenge the other side? It seems like everyday now I find religious arguments in some random place (i've seen one in the Decorating and Remodeling forum). I don't understand why some people sit on yahoo all day questioning religion/atheism when they could be doing something that doesn't hurt other people. While it is true that religion has no or little supporting evidence to the creationism aspect to it, it helps many people overcome the difficulties of life and stops many people from abusing others, having way too early etc. On the contrary, it also turns some christians... some... into intolerant bigots who go against their own religion. I'm no expert on the bible by any means, but does it not say "Love thy neighbor"? Of course we atheists are to be blamed just as much as anyone else. If we constantly say to others that they are believing in lies, what about our own? While it is true that many atheists don't care how our world was created, many of us think that it made itself from a universal big-bang. Science and religion each have their faults; why can't we just live with what we have and let some super smart scientist/philosopher discover where we came from and the rest of the world's mysteries? I'm of course prepared for the mive number of disagreements I'm going to get as I probably sound like the world's biggest hypocrite, but keep in mind I'm just trying to make both sides see that they're not the only people who's opinions matter...

Why do I keep getting hungry today?

I'm a teen girl, and for some reason, I've been hungry pretty often today. I added peanut er to my oatmeal & banana this morning, so I thought that would keep me fuller than usual with my mid-morning snack (140-cal South Beach Diet bar) and lunch (potato-tomato sandwich & 1 red apple) still eaten as usual. At around four, I ate two plums, one True North nut cluster, one tiny slice of dry fruit. I was still hungry an hour later, so I drank 1/2 a cup of OJ, one small pretzel, and another tiny slice of dry fruit. But I'm still looking forward to dinner! What's going on? My first thought is that I'm growing, but I'm kind of older in my teens and it doesn't seem like that should happen to me anymore. Don't hunger pangs like that happen in your lower teens?

A guy in a womans world?

I'm just looking for some good advise on how can I convice my woman boss to concede me a monetary raise. See the thing is that I work in a place where all my bosses are women. We have a Director, she is the big boss, followed by 3 managers who are also bosses, there is about 6 group leaders who are also bosses. My co-workers are 90 % women and I really like working in this enviroment. I've been working in this pre-school program for 18 years now. The thing is that over the past years all this people have got very good raises and as for me I'm stuck in the same salary for the past 8 years. I've tried dialogue with my main boss, I've written letters and the last time I sat down with her she told me there was nothing she could do. My evaluations have been outstanding, my overall task and performance have also been outstanding, never had a warning or problems, I feel my relations with my peers are very well. The thing is that I do not understand why this atthitude towards me. Sometimes I believe she could be influenced by somebody else or she plainly she doesnt believe I deserve a raise, but she does not tell me. In the past weeks new workers were hired and all of them top me in salary even though they don't have the work experience. My head is all over the place..?

All this started when i was 11, and i started high school. Everything was simple before that. Then it all got complicated. i got really depressed, but i wasn't always depressed, and that used to bother me too. when i think about how i used to feel when i was depressed, all i see is black and white, grey hazed images of random clrooms, and those few nights i used to cry under my pillow. i remember feeling bad about feeling depressed, i thought about telling someone but i was scared of what people would think of me. it was all in my head, but it was so real. the thing is, when i went through these depressed months, i wasn't always down. i could be happy for a bit.. there were people capable of cheering me up. then i fell in love. i'm really shy, i have mive self esteem issues. i know i'll never be good enough, but just being near him makes me haappy, even if we don't really speak. after i had the depression stage, i had a stage where i went from being really depressed to happy and fidgetty, and HYPER. then i got into i stage where i got very pissed off at everything. i never show when i'm angry, i keep it inside and never let it out. i think the keeping my anger in and low self esteem is what's caused all this, but i don't know how to stop it. my head is still all over the place, and i don't know what to do, or how to be happy for once. also how did i get over the depression? will it come back? how do i improve my self esteem? thanks:)

The Detroit Lions are getting better. Like you mentioned they added a Outside Line Backer, in Julian Peterson who was a Pro Bowler as a Seattle Seahawk. He instantly upgrades the Linebacking Corp for the Lions. Corner Back, Phillip Buchanon was a good pickup from the Bucaneers. Look for him to make some plays this season. In the Draft it was good to take a Franchise Quarter Back, in Matthew Stafford as a start. Although I was surprised with the selections the Lions took with their third draft by not going for high draft prospect Line Backer, Rey Maualuga, instead taking Safty, Louis Delmas. They could have made the face of their defense by taking Maualuga. If the Lions can upgrade the Offensive Line that would boost the team "worst" to "average". Not to mention they have an elite Wide Receiver in, Calvin Johnson. Overall this offseason proved to be a good one. With fresh young draft picks and smart veterans this is an improved team.

I hate going to the doctor. I went to the doctor yesterday to get checked on for this bad cough I have. The doctor said it was either allergy or viral bacteria. I just needed to get checked on for my cough, but you know how doctors are. I had to get my blood pressure checked and had to be weighed. The nurse checked my blood pressure one time only and the very first reading was 144/90. Now my doctor is telling me my pressure is too high and that my my weight is obese. I'm about 5'9 182 lbs. I'm told to get back to my old weight, which was at 150 lbs. and same height. My parents said doctors tell you that stuff so you go back and spend more money.The more they find stuff they "claim" is wrong with you, the more you keep going back and spending more money. i currently have bronchitis, it stinks doesn't it! first of all, drop the cigs. i know it's hard (trust me, i'm going through it too) but you'll get so much worse if you're still smoking! i use the vick's vaporizer with the steam medicine in it, i drink theraflu during the day and take nyquil at night so i can get a good night's rest. you can also nip it in the bud by heading to the doctor now, get a breathing treatment and some meds before you get sicker! feel better :-)

How tidy or messy was your house after having baby?

I had my first baby 3 weeks ago &I am not feeling well as i had a very deficult labour and delivery. My husband is very supportive making meals & looking after baby whenever possible, but he is busy and stressed with work & cant do much housework, i am grateful that he cooks for me otherwise i would be starving. My mother in law is staying with us for 2 months, but she is 70 years old & cant do much apart from holding baby and telling me what to do with my OWN baby. The result is a very messy and dirty flat & it's making me very stressed. When i say messy, i mean it. If its auto shutting down then it could be that the battery is going dead. It could also be that the computer is overheating and shutting down. Well if its sitting at 100% and staying steady then my guess would be overheating

Blood seeping from wound...?

I had a perirectal abscess drained in December. Since then it has healed and the wound closed. This weekend I had a reddish purple bump come up on the scar and then it popped. Since it popped Saturday night it hasnt stopped seeping blood. I went back to the rectal surgeon today and he said that I could have a secondary infection from the abscess but that he doesnt think it serious. I just went to the bathroom and there was blood dripping from the abscess into the toilet. I could hear it steadily dripping. Ok..... i might not be a dr but something doesnt seem right. Im thinking about going to the ER and having them look at it. Im starting to wonder how long a wound can just drip blood before it heals. Has anyone had this happen?

GDC TI-82 STATS Problem?

I try to calculate a single statistical data through 1-Var Stats in my GDC, Texas Instruments TI-82. This problem never occurred to me before as I fill in L1 with the number of data and L2 with the number of frequencies from each data. When I press 1-var Stats however, the results only calculates the L1 data and ignores L2 data completely, which is crucial since L2 represents the frequency of the data. Can someone tell me how I can fix this in my GDC? Thank you for any detailed answer.

Help!! I can't train my shih tzu, specially because of the snow, any suggestions?

I have a one-year-old shih tzu, she didn't grow up enough, i guess she is a puppy size and we really have a hard time when it comes to taking her out on the snow. We live in Colorado, so we get snow storms very often; I have been trying to train her, and i thought we were understanding each other until the snow came again and now we are back to the same painfull routine for both of us. My only solution so far has been to keep her caged so she doesn't ruin the carpet. I hate doing this specially because she doesn't understand the difference between a floor pad and her bed.
